Minister Kacır's important statement about the 'Space-Themed Science Center'

Within our university, the 'Salda Lake Science, Education and Nature Conservation Application and Research Center' was among the topics that Minister Kacır also prioritized.

Announcing that Burdur will host a significant investment in the field of science and technology, Minister Kacır stated that a science center focused on space sciences will be implemented in the coming period, alongside Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, with the support of TÜBİTAK, right next to the globally renowned Salda Lake.

Minister Kacır emphasized his belief in the project, stating that this center will provide great contributions to Burdur, the youth, and children. The Salda Lake Science, Education and Nature Conservation Application and Research Center established within our university will not be limited to scientific studies only, but will also contribute to the promotion and tourism of the region.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar thanked the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır in a statement on his social media account.

In his post, Rector Dalgar included the expressions; “We express our gratitude to our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, for his close interest and support for the Space-themed 'Salda Lake Science Center' project, which we presented together with our Governorship during his visit to Burdur. We sincerely thank our esteemed Minister for honoring our city and university.”
