Visit from Ministry of Culture Official Selim Terzi to Rector Dalgar

In the meeting that took place, Burdur's rich cultural heritage, historical texture, and ancient cities were discussed. Additionally, there was an exchange of information about the university's work in these areas and future projects.

Efforts to preserve cultural heritage came to the agenda
During the visit, joint projects that could be carried out to preserve Burdur's historical texture and pass it on to future generations were also discussed. General Manager Selim Terzi emphasized the importance of steps to be taken in this regard as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, stating that academic-level studies should be supported.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar expressed that as a university, they are conducting academic studies aimed at preserving the region's cultural and historical riches and are ready to cooperate with the Ministry on this matter.

Ancient cities and historical values will be highlighted
The steps that need to be taken to promote Burdur's ancient cities and historical structures more effectively were among the important topics of the meeting. Suggestions were discussed to increase tourism potential, support academic and scientific studies in these areas, and preserve cultural heritage.

The visit concluded with an exchange of ideas on collaborations and projects that could be carried out between the two institutions in the future.
