Within the scope of this project symbolizing the 20-year success and growth of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), 20,000 saplings will meet the soil in the campus area. Thus, MAKÜ aims to strengthen the ideal of a green campus and leave a more livable environment for the future.
Inviting all the people of Burdur, academicians, students, parents, and alumni to the 20,000 saplings campaign in the 20th year, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar stated that everyone can contribute to the project; “The donations made will only be used for tree planting. Those who want to donate can contribute to leaving a green legacy for the future by supporting. With this project, we will have made an important investment both in nature and for future generations.
