The 4th physical activity organized as part of the "Physical Activity Awareness Days" by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Sport Sciences was the "Plogging" event, which means "running while collecting trash."
The running while collecting trash event held around the Faculty of Sport Sciences and İstiklal Stadium attracted great interest from students. In the event organized by Öğr. Gör. Dr. Mine Ömercioğlu and Öğr. Gör. Nida Nur Ekici, students collected trash while running with garbage bags in their hands.
As part of the ACTIVE CAMPUS initiative launched by MAKÜ Faculty of Sport Sciences, these events, which aim to create awareness of physical activity and will continue throughout the year, are organized every Wednesday between 13:00-14:00 and are conducted as "Movement Hour."
