The Squash Turkey Championship organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation was successfully held, hosted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ). In the championship, MAKÜ's men's team achieved second place in Turkey, while the women's team marked a significant success by securing third place in Turkey.
In the tournament held in a lively atmosphere on the university campus, MAKÜ left its mark both in terms of organization and sports. Championship Representative Dr. Lecturer Soner Sivri and Organizing Committee Member graduate student İsmail Şafak, who played a significant role in the smooth execution of the organization, managed the process successfully.
The awards for the winners were presented by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Emrah Atay, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Süleyman Yarar, Sports Facilities Manager Adnan Dilmen, and the relevant academicians.
