MAKÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences is organizing various activities to increase awareness of physical activity within the scope of the ACTIVE CAMPUS initiative. These activities will continue throughout the year and will also include mental activities.
In this context, the meditation event organized within the framework of the "Physical Activity Awareness Days" events attracted great interest from students. The event held in the yoga hall was organized by Dr. Lecturer Esin Yılmaz and conducted by Dr. Yılmaz and Faculty of Sports Sciences Specialist Student Ülkü Yüksel.
Students achieved both mental relaxation and discovered methods to cope with stress through meditation. It was emphasized that such activities are of great importance not only for physical health but also for mental health.
