MAKU, in the Impact Ranking 2024, is in the Top 1000 in the World!

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) in Burdur has managed to enter the top 1000 among world universities in three areas within the scope of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, according to the results of the Times Higher Education's 2024 Impact Ranking.

 

MAKU ranked in the 601-800 band worldwide and 32nd in Turkey in the Quality Education category, in the context of the trainings it provides to the local community with its students and academic staff in the field of sustainability as part of its regional development mission. This success demonstrates that our university is able to convey universal knowledge to various sections of society through education and training.

 

In the Sustainable Cities and Communities category, MAKU is in the 601-800 band worldwide and 31st in Turkey. This category reveals the contributions and successes of our university in creating sustainable urban and living spaces.

 

In the Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure category, MAKU is in the 801-1000 band worldwide and 58th in Turkey. This result shows the importance our university attaches to innovative projects and solid infrastructure by collaborating with industry.

 

These results prove MAKU's efforts and successes on the path to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and are an indicator that we will achieve greater successes in the future.
