The 6th term of MAKÜ Career School has been completed: 90 students graduated

The 6th term of the Career School program, conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Career Development Application and Research Center, has ended. A graduation ceremony was held for 90 students who successfully completed the program, which lasted for three weeks and covered a total of 45 hours of training.

 

The ceremony was attended by MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, as well as Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, Rector Advisors Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Alpaslan, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Veysel Dal, academicians, and students. 

 

During the program, students received comprehensive training aimed at strengthening their personal skills alongside their professional development. Digital diplomas were presented to the students who completed the training by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Dalgar noted that the training provided in the program focused on developing skills such as communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, stating that the competencies required by the era are shaped in these areas.

 

Emphasizing the role of hard work in success, Dalgar recalled the words of Nobel laureate scientist Aziz Sancar, “I do not believe in intelligence, I believe in hard work,” highlighting the importance of students working consciously, disciplined, and with awareness.

 

Dalgar also made evaluations regarding the university's educational vision, expressing that MAKÜ has gained a stronger academic structure each year with its applied education models and innovative approaches. Dalgar stated that the Career School is an exemplary model unique to the university and emphasized that students should make the best use of this opportunity.

 

Following the speech, diplomas were awarded to the four students who completed the program with the highest scores. It was reported that the digital diplomas of all graduates were sent via email.

 

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of plaques to the academicians who provided the training.
