The number of programs with the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo at MAKÜ has increased to 18.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) continues its accreditation and certification efforts in line with its quality assurance-focused education policies without slowing down. 

In this context, 8 of our programs that successfully completed the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) evaluation process gained the right to use the TQF logo. With the addition of new programs, a total of 18 of our programs have gained the right to use the TQF logo.

Previously, programs such as Primary Mathematics Education, English Language Teaching, Preschool Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Classroom Teaching, Music Education, Science Education, Social Studies Education, Turkish Language Education at the MAKÜ Faculty of Education, and programs at the MAKÜ Faculty of Veterinary Medicine also gained the right to use this prestigious logo.

In the TQF system, where only accredited programs can apply, the following MAKÜ programs will be able to carry the TQF logo on their diploma supplements, graduation certificates, and transcripts:

• Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School – Civil Aviation Management
• Burdur Health Services Vocational School – First and Emergency Aid
• Çavdır Vocational School – Occupational Health and Safety
• Gölhisar Vocational School – Architectural Restoration
• Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School – First and Emergency Aid
• Social Sciences Vocational School – Civil Aviation Management
• Technical Sciences Vocational School – Construction Technology

The TQF logo not only enhances the national and international recognition of a program but also ensures that the qualifications of graduates are documented in a clear and reliable manner. This development is an indicator of MAKÜ's student-focused, transparent, and sustainable quality assurance approach.

What is the Turkish Qualifications Framework?

The Turkish Qualifications Framework is a national reference system that ensures all qualifications in Turkey are classified, defined, and made comparable to each other according to certain quality criteria. 

Compatible with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the TQF aims to provide individuals with access to transparent, understandable, and reliable qualification information in education and employment processes. The TQF logo is an official symbol indicating that a qualification meets TQF criteria and has successfully passed quality assurance processes.
