The "Welcome to Your University Football Tournament" organized for the first-year students who registered for the 2024-2025 Academic Year at our university started on October 14, 2024, with the first day's matches played on the artificial turf field of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. On the opening day of the tournament, sportsmanship was at the forefront along with fierce competition.
In the first day's matches, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences defeated the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine 5-1, while the Vocational School of Technical Sciences achieved a 3-1 victory against the Faculty of Science and Letters.
In the tournament, a total of 11 teams are competing in 4 groups. On the last day of the tournament, Friday, October 25, 2024, the final matches and the award ceremony will be held. At the end of the organization, trophies and medals will be presented to the teams that take the top three places.
