15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Event at MAKU

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Burdur organized a meaningful event on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. Before the Friday prayer at the Campus Mosque of the University, a recitation of the Quran was performed and a prayer was read for the martyrs of July 15.
The students, academics, and university staff who attended the event commemorated our martyrs who lost their lives in the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, with mercy, giving messages of unity and solidarity.
After the recitation of the Quran and the prayer, the Friday prayer was performed. After this important event, which was held to ensure that July 15 is not forgotten and to strengthen national unity, halva was served to the participants after the prayer.
