The Works of Cartoon and Animation Program Students at MAKU were Exhibited

Students of the Cartoon and Animation Program of the Faculty of Art Design at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) exhibited their works with the pride of graduating their first students this year. The works produced by the students of the Cartoon and Animation Program Department with intense labor and creativity throughout the year were presented to the appreciation of art lovers at the Faculty of Art Design Foyer Hall.

 

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner and Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, Rector Advisor Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Alparslan, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Serdar Tuna, department teachers and many students attended the opening ceremony. At the event, many works such as 3D modeling and rendering, illustration, concept design, multimedia design, motion typographic poster and animation created by students in various techniques and styles were exhibited.

 

Faculty of Art Design Dean Prof. Dr. Serdar Tuna, in his speech at the opening of the exhibition, said, "The dedication and creativity shown by our students throughout the year is evident in the works exhibited here today. We are proud to graduate the first students of our Cartoon and Animation Program. We are training our students to get a share from this pie in cartoon and animation, which is among the professions of the future in Turkey. In this exhibition, we have the works of our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. I recommend art lovers to come and visit this exhibition." he said.

 

The Cartoon and Animation Program, which is considered one of the most popular professions of the digital world and is found in a small number of universities in Turkey, is reaching an important milestone by graduating its first students this year. The exhibition will be open to art lovers for a week.
