MAKÜ folk dance team does not give up the Turkey Championship

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Folk Dance Team once again reached the top at the 22nd University Sports Federation Folk Dance Competition held in Antalya. The team, which received full marks from the jury members with its successful performance, achieved an important success by winning the Turkey championship.

With this result, the MAKÜ Folk Dance Team has succeeded in becoming the Turkey champion for the fourth consecutive time. Thus, the total number of Turkey championships in the field of folk dances at the university has risen to six, while the number of first places in national and international organizations, along with the previously won European championship, has reached seven.

The students, who drew attention with their harmonious choreographies, stage dominance, and high performances throughout the competition, successfully represented MAKÜ. The new championship achieved confirmed once again the stable success graph that the university has maintained in the field of folk dances for years.

Students, coaches, academic and administrative staff who contributed to this success, which brought great pride to the university community, are congratulated, and it is expected that the MAKÜ Folk Dance Team will achieve new successes in the upcoming period.
