At Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, the MAKÜ Added Value application was implemented to make the participation of students in social, cultural, sports, and volunteer activities visible alongside their academic development. The MAKÜ Added Value Report was presented to Erol Özkır, the student from the Faculty of Education who showed the highest participation in the events.

The MAKÜ Added Value application, conducted with the understanding that university life is a multifaceted development process that is not limited to lessons; where the student recognizes, develops, takes responsibility, and actively participates in social life, records students' active participation in campus life.

The MAKÜ Added Value Report prepared in this context presents an important achievement documenting the events the student participated in throughout their university life, social responsibility projects, cultural, sports, and personal development activities. This report, which serves as a kind of social diploma, concretely reveals how the student has lived their student life, in which areas they have developed themselves, and to what extent they have benefited from university opportunities, alongside their academic success.

Especially noteworthy for industry representatives and the business world, the MAKÜ Added Value Report contributes to students' ability to express themselves more strongly after graduation. Thus, students add a valuable document to their graduation processes as individuals who learn, produce, share, take responsibility, and have a strong social aspect.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar congratulated Erol Özkır, the student from the Faculty of Education who showed the highest participation in the MAKÜ Added Value application, and emphasized the importance of students benefiting more from the opportunities offered by the university.

In his statement, Rector Dalgar used the following expressions:

“University life is a multifaceted process enriched by social and cultural experiences alongside academic studies. In this understanding, we presented the MAKÜ Added Value Report to our student Erol Özkır, who showed the highest participation in the events within the scope of our MAKÜ Added Value application. I sincerely congratulate my brother Erol for his active participation in campus life and his efforts to develop himself. I invite all our students to benefit more from the opportunities offered by our university; to be a part of campus life as individuals who learn, produce, share, and actively participate in life.”

MAKÜ continues to prepare its graduates as more equipped individuals for life and the business world with applications that support their academic successes as well as their social, cultural, and personal development.
