The 2025 General Assembly Meeting of MAKÜ BAKA Teknokent A.Ş., operating under Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), was held with broad participation.
The meeting, chaired by Burdur Governor Tülay Baydar Bilgihan, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Burdur Trade Provincial Director Aylin Sacide Cankar, Burdur Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Yusuf Keyik, Bucak Organized Industrial Zone Director Binnur Çığrı, and the Technopark management team.
During the general assembly, the current activities of the Technopark were evaluated, and development areas and targets for the upcoming period were discussed. New topics aimed at further strengthening the cooperation between the university and industry were exchanged.
Participants also deliberated and decided on steps that could be taken to develop the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.
Three Generations Met at the Same Table
Following the Technopark meeting, a meaningful iftar program was organized at Salda Girls' Dormitory. In the program held under the name "3 Generations Meet," students, elderly residents of the nursing home, and protocol members gathered at the same table.
Sincere moments were experienced in the iftar program, where intergenerational solidarity and sharing were highlighted. While colorful scenes emerged as the young and the elderly conversed, the gathering of different generations added a special meaning to the event.
