Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved a significant success by being included for the first time in the QS Europe Universities 2026 ranking announced by the international higher education ranking organization QS (Quacquarelli Symonds).
MAKÜ, which is among the 33 Turkish universities that entered the list for the first time in the QS Europe 2026 ranking this year, positioned itself in the 701–900 band, elevating its international academic visibility to a higher level.
With its scientific production, quality of education, and institutional development-focused efforts, MAKÜ has shown a steady rise in recent years and is proud to be among the European universities with this result.
In an evaluation regarding the subject, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar used the following expressions:
