Special project support from MAKÜ for TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), within the scope of the Specialization in Animal Husbandry Project and in line with the National Technology Initiative vision, announced an important support call for the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition. In this context, the "TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Special Call" was launched to encourage innovative and applicable student projects in the field of agricultural technologies.

The call, which aims to transform the innovative ideas of project teams to be formed within the university into concrete projects, aims to prepare students for the TEKNOFEST process in a more equipped and effective manner. Smart agriculture applications, digital agriculture solutions, productivity-enhancing technologies, and sustainable production approaches are among the priority focus areas of the projects to be supported.

Support up to 50 Thousand TL for projects

Within the scope of the call, teams that successfully pass the pre-application stage in the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition and qualify to make a project presentation will be entitled to receive project support up to 50,000 TL, including VAT. Separate support can be provided for each project.

Who can apply?

Associate, undergraduate, and graduate students studying within Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University can apply as a team together with their academic advisors. In the projects, the academic advisor will serve as the Project Manager, and the students will serve as Researchers.

Applications will be made through the academic advisor

Project support applications will be carried out by the academic advisor. The application petition, project pre-application form, and the document proving that an application has been made to the TEKNOFEST 2026 Agricultural Technologies Competition must be sent via email to hayvancilikproje@mehmetakif.edu.tr by February 20, 2026 at the latest. Additionally, it is required to submit the wet-signed documents to the relevant coordination office.

Detailed applications for projects that successfully complete the TEKNOFEST pre-application process will be carried out through the BAP automation system after the competition results are announced.
