In our Nursing Department, the center structured with the existing Nursing Skills Laboratory 1 and Nursing Skills Laboratory 2 aims to develop our students' professional skills in a practical, safe, and realistic environment.

The most realistic training environment

The center has a total of four training rooms. In addition to rooms specifically designed for Nursing Fundamentals, Obstetrics, Child Health, and Intensive Care Nursing practices, there is also a mirrored interview room used in Psychiatric Nursing training within the center. In the mirrored interview rooms, our students have the opportunity to evaluate their performance with visuals and receive feedback after the application.

The standout equipment of the center is the simulators developed with advanced technology, possessing human-like features and a high level of realism. Thanks to these simulators, which can speak, respond, and realistically reflect human physiology, our students can practice in conditions closest to a hospital environment, suitable for real patient scenarios, and in a risk-free environment. Thus, before transitioning to the clinical environment, they are enabled to reinforce their competencies without risking patient safety.

Continuous education support to the healthcare system

It is planned that our Nursing Simulation Center will serve not only our Nursing Department students but also the training of our clinical nurses within the scope of hospital-school cooperation. While it is aimed for the center to be open to the use of nurses working in the healthcare field throughout Turkey, it is intended to be effectively used in professional education, in-service training, and continuous professional development activities.
