The MAKÜFEST, traditionally organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), witnessed enthusiastic moments on its final day. While students enjoyed various activities, competitions, and music performances throughout the day, the festival's closing concert turned into an unforgettable night.

On the final night, TRT Turkish Folk Music Artist and Kabak Kemane Virtuoso Uğur Önür took the stage, offering a musical feast to both MAKÜ students and the people of Burdur with the folk songs he performed. The artist, who travels all over Turkey collecting folk songs and has made significant contributions in this field, took his audience on a journey to the past with pieces from his albums 'Köy Havası' and 'Yadigar'.

At the end of the concert, MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar came on stage to thank the artist Uğur Önür. Rector Dalgar presented flowers to Önür in memory of the night, while Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen also presented a plaque.

As MAKÜFEST concluded with this special closing intertwined with art, it left unforgettable memories for the participants.
