5-year accreditation for MAKÜ Visual Communication Design department

Our university has added a new achievement to its accreditation success. Our university's Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design, has been accredited for 5 years by the Communication Education Evaluation Accreditation Board (İLEDAK).

As a result of the evaluation conducted by İLEDAK, it was certified that the department's education quality met the determined standards, and the accreditation decision was approved at the İLAD Board of Directors meeting on March 12, 2025. Thus, the Visual Communication Design Undergraduate Program was entitled to receive the İLAD Accreditation Certificate valid between March 12, 2025 - March 12, 2030.

With this accreditation, the Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design, has gained the right to use the İLAD Guarantee Mark in all written, visual, and auditory media and promotions.

This significant achievement stands out as a prestigious development that certifies the educational quality and academic competence of MAKÜ Faculty of Art and Design. This accreditation, which is held by a few programs among universities of similar age across Turkey, highlights the department's competence and success in education.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar congratulated the academics of the Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design, expressing that such academic achievements are a source of pride for the university and hoping that they will continue to increase in the coming years.
