MAKÜ students are shaping their future at the Güney Career Fair

8 universities, 300 companies

At the fair hosted by Akdeniz University, where eight regional universities were stakeholders, more than 300 sector representatives met with students to introduce career opportunities. The event, organized with the theme “Talent is Everywhere”, offered a wide range of opportunities from job and internship applications to educational workshops, from interview simulations to direct interaction with the sector.

MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, emphasizing that students should make the most of such events, said, “As a university, we prioritize bringing our students together with the sector and supporting their career planning. Such organizations enable our students to take more conscious steps in their future professional lives. By participating in the Southern Career Fair with nearly 1500 of our students this year, we are demonstrating a strong presence. Our students have the opportunity to communicate directly with companies here and apply for jobs and internships. At the same time, they gain significant experiences with valuable speakers and career sessions. I hope this fair will be beneficial for our region and our students. We will continue to participate and support.”
