The table tennis tournament at MAKÜ took one's breath away

The table tennis tournament organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) for staff and students concluded with exciting matches. The tournament, held at the Faculty of Sports Sciences Table Tennis Hall, witnessed fierce competition among the participants.

Medals and trophies were ceremoniously presented to the participants who ranked in the tournament.

Staff Category Winners

In the staff category, Mehmet Haşim Akgül came first, Umut Boz second, and Mehmet Seyirci third. The awards were presented to the winners by the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Emrah Atay.

Student Categories Winners

In the Male Students category, Ziya Kaplan took first place, Taylan Akın second, and Veli Can Karagül third.

In the Female Students category, Habibe Elif Çınar came first, Nimet Turun second, and Zeynep Şule Kuruca third.

The awards for the winners in the student categories were given by the Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Süleyman Yarar and the Faculty Secretary of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Ali Yavuz Aktürk.

The tournament was highly appreciated both for the competitive performances of the athletes and the enthusiasm of the spectators. It was emphasized that such events provide an opportunity for the university community to come together and experience the unifying power of sports.
