The EUSA delegation met with MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar in his office to exchange views on the organization process. During the meeting, the sporting and cultural contributions that the championship will bring to MAKÜ were discussed, and the guests expressed their satisfaction with the university's preparations for the organization.
Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar emphasized that it is an honor for the university to host such a prestigious international event, stating, “This championship is an important promotional opportunity not only for our university but also for Burdur. We will be delighted to host many different cultures here with the unifying power of sports,” he said.
As part of the visit, Miha Zivan and Marcin Fidala also thoroughly examined the sports facilities and fields planned for the 2025 European Table Tennis Championship. The delegation assessed whether the facilities meet international standards and are capable of meeting the needs of the athletes. The examinations focused on elements such as the infrastructure of the sports hall, lighting systems, seating capacity, and field arrangements.
The EUSA delegation expressed their satisfaction with MAKÜ's hospitality and stated that they appreciated the university's experience in sports organizations and meticulous preparation process.
