An event titled 'Technology Enthusiast Youth Meet, Are You Ready to Explore Teknofest?' was organized by MAKÜ Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Teknofest Community, and T3 Foundation Burdur Provincial Representation.
In his opening speech, Dean of MAKÜ Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uyumaz stated that they organized this event to encourage young people to step into the world of technology. Uyumaz said, "We are here to strengthen our country's position on the international technology stage and to ensure that our young people progress in this field with innovative ideas. I am very pleased to see you at this event."
Expressing that the university participates in competitions within the scope of TEKNOFEST every year and aims for students to develop themselves in fields such as technology, engineering, education, and health, Prof. Dr. Uyumaz emphasized that TEKNOFEST is not limited to theory only, but also provides important skills such as creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. He concluded his words by saying, "I hope your passion for technology will be an inspiration for you to take steps that will shape the future of our country."
Later in the event, T3 Foundation Burdur Provincial Representative Emine Büşra Aygün gave a speech about TEKNOFEST and provided information to the participants about the competition participation process and project development stages. Aygün said, "To start a project, you first need to have an idea. Then, you should form your teams and plan how to manage the project. You can manage this process with our Technology Community, we are here to help students from every faculty."
In the later parts of the program, a documentary film prepared for AKINCI, a high-altitude long-endurance armed unmanned aerial vehicle developed by the Turkish defense industry company BAYKAR, was shown.
The event ended with Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uyumaz presenting a certificate of appreciation to Emine Büşra Aygün.
