The International Experiences of Our Academicians Were Discussed at the 'Fikir Sofrası'

The Fikir Sofrası meetings, organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) and addressing strategic topics included in the university's policy documents, continue under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar.

The latest meeting was held with the participation of academics who studied abroad under the law numbered 1416 and are now serving at MAKÜ. During the gathering organized under the coordination of MAKÜ YLSY Coordination, the university administration and academics came together to share experiences and ideas.

In his speech, Rector Dalgar provided information about the current state of MAKÜ, its goals, and expectations from academics. “We see the integration of international scientific and cultural accumulations into our academic structure as a strategic priority. We continue our efforts to achieve our internationalization goals in higher education with a sustainable and visionary approach,” said Dalgar, emphasizing the steps MAKÜ has taken in this direction.

During the meeting, academics introduced themselves and their fields of study. There was an exchange of ideas on how they could transfer the knowledge and experiences gained abroad to MAKÜ.

In addition to Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner, Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, YLSY Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet İhsan Aytek, and academics who studied abroad under the law numbered 1416 attended the meeting.

The Fikir Sofrası meetings continue to be an important experience-sharing platform in line with MAKÜ's academic and strategic goals on the path to internationalization.
