Exhibition of Mixed Student Works for the Republic Opened

The mixed exhibition prepared by the students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design, was presented to art lovers at the Avşarhan Foyer Area. In the exhibition prepared in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, 25 original works highlighting the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and the historical significance of this process are displayed.

 

The opening of the exhibition was carried out by MAKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen. The opening was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Serdar Tuna, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, academicians, and a large number of students. 

 

Among the works exhibited in the Avşarhan Foyer Area are artistic projects made in different types, from digital graphics to illustrations, from collages to typographic works. The exhibition, which attracted great interest from visitors, also holds a special meaning for those who want to understand and remember the establishment process and achievements of the Republic of Turkey. The exhibition can be visited by art lovers for a week.
