MAKÜ, Included Among Advancing Universities in the 2024 YÖK Report

The 2024 University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report announced by the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, examined in detail the contributions of universities to higher education and society. Özvar stated that the report was prepared in line with the principles of transparency and accountability and will be an important reference source for studies to be conducted on the higher education system.

 

The report highlighted the achievements of many universities across Turkey in different fields. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) was among the universities that stood out with its contributions to education, scientific studies, and regional development. The development shown by MAKÜ, especially in the areas of participation in student clubs and student contribution to Technology Transfer Office (TTO) projects, is among the prominent elements in the report.

 

The report emphasized that MAKÜ, with its 34,867 students, is among the universities with the highest number of students registered in student clubs. Additionally, our university ranked among the top 5 universities in Turkey in terms of the number of students participating in Technology Transfer Office (TTO) projects.

 

MAKÜ continues to progress with determined steps as a university aiming to increase its contributions to its region. Our university continues to contribute to regional development and scientific advancement not only with its academic achievements but also with its student-focused approaches.
