The 2024 Quality Processes at MAKÜ were Evaluated with the 5th Quality Commission Meeting

The 5th Quality Commission Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) with the aim of monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality activities for the year 2024. The meeting was attended by the university's Quality Commission members and Quality Coordination personnel.

In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar emphasized the importance of the university's quality processes and highlighted the significant role of leadership support and team spirit in the success of these processes. Noting that a quality culture needs to be established in all units for the sustainability of quality processes independent of individuals, Rector Dalgar pointed out the importance of support from all managers, especially the university administration.

Continuing his speech, Rector Dalgar stated that the process of the "Full Accreditation Certificate" given by the Higher Education Quality Board to MAKÜ is successfully ongoing and emphasized the importance of the work to be done to address the deficiencies identified in this process. Highlighting the importance of program accreditation and the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo for the university in addition to institutional accreditation, Dalgar stressed the importance of academic units owning and conducting these processes and stated that the support of unit managers is needed.

Rector Dalgar concluded his speech by expressing that as the university administration, they are ready to provide all kinds of support in the implementation of the decisions made in the quality processes. The meeting ended with the discussion and resolution of the agenda items.
