Our university also participated in the Turkey-Uzbekistan Education Forum held under the auspices of Istanbul Technical University. Within the scope of the forum, joint diploma programs and academic cooperation agreements were signed in various disciplines, especially in livestock. These collaborations aim to establish more partnerships in academic and scientific projects between the universities of the two countries.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar stated that this cooperation will contribute to the increase of academic capacity between Turkish and Uzbek universities, saying, "We hope that the forum will bring auspicious results for our university and all participating institutions. With the agreements signed, we aim to deepen our scientific and academic cooperation and undertake larger projects."

President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar also stated in his speech during the forum that an important step has been taken to further strengthen the educational cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan. Emphasizing that the most important step to crown the academic collaborations between the two countries is the establishment of the Turkish-Uzbek University, Özvar said, "Turkey and Uzbekistan, which are closely connected by historical and cultural ties, should meet under the roof of a university that will bring together their knowledge and experience. The establishment of this university will give significant momentum to the relations between our countries."

Özvar also stated that the establishment of a joint university where Turkish universities can share their knowledge and experience, especially in health, engineering, and informatics, will further strengthen the academic cooperation between the two countries. "Such a university will not only enhance the cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan but also create new opportunities in the academic field at regional and global levels," he said.

This educational cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan aims to increase the sharing of knowledge at regional and global levels by bringing together the academic and scientific potential of the universities of the two countries. The agreements signed at the forum indicate that academic collaborations will pave the way for larger projects in the future.
