Under the coordination of Stanford University, a study conducted by a team of scientists from the USA and the Netherlands resulted in the publication of the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list.
In the creation of the 'World's Most Influential Scientists List'; international criteria such as the number of qualified publications, the impact of the journal in which the publications are included, the number of patents, the number of citations, h-index, hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles, and the impact of the journal in which it was published were used. In the ranking made using criteria such as the scientific productivity of academics and the quality of their work, more than 200 thousand names were evaluated worldwide.
In this study published by the Elsevier company located in the Netherlands, 4 academics from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) succeeded in being included in the 'World's Most Influential Scientists List', making MAKÜ proud in the international arena.
In the list, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökmen Arslan from MAKÜ Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gürlek from the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uyumaz from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and Prof. Dr. Serkan Ballı from Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences represented MAKÜ at the international level by being included in the 'World's Most Influential Scientists List'.
