Antalyaspor, who came to Burdur for the 2024-2025 season preparations at the Lavender Hill Hotel Sports Facilities of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, continues its work without slowing down.
In this context, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar met with Antalyaspor Technical Director Alex de Souza, who continues his training at the facilities.
Rector Dalgar asked them how the new season preparations went and gave information about the facility. Experienced technical director Alex de Souza stated that the preparations were productive and they were satisfied with the Sports Facilities where they camped.

Later, a hand-stitched ball with "ALEX" written on it was presented to Alex de Souza by Rector Dalgar. The technical director, who liked the gifted ball very much and learned that the ball stitching was handmade by women, stated that they wanted to visit the women's cooperatives as well.

Emphasizing that the "Athlete Training and Camp Center Project is turning into a point that serves its purpose more and more each year," Rector Dalgar underlined the contributions of MAKU to the city in his statement. Rector Dalgar said, “Antalya Sport, which has been with us for the past two years, is also in our facilities this year. The interest was higher with Alex De Souza becoming the technical director. We completed our shortcomings over time. Our facilities provide very good service. As the university administration, we have face-to-face meetings and ask their needs. According to the feedback we receive from them, if there are any deficiencies, we strive to bring the facilities to a better point every year. It is gratifying to have such feedback from the investments made. Of course, Alex is very famous and has a very large fan base. His presence here is very important in terms of promoting our university and our facilities. We visited him today. We presented him with our hand-stitched balls produced by our cooperative. They were very happy, hopefully we will visit the women's cooperative together. We will visit both to visit them and to support their beautiful work, in terms of promotional contribution. They said they were very satisfied with everything.

They prefer to camp in an environment away from the city's stimuli, so our university facilities are very suitable and this is one of the reasons for preference.
