Burdur Celebrated the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with Enthusiasm

As part of the celebration ceremonies, a wreath was laid at the Atatürk Monument in Cumhuriyet Square by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports.
May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day celebration ceremony continued with the program held at Burdur Central Sports Hall. The celebration program, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, included a speech by the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Orhan Kemerkaya, emphasizing the significance of the day. As part of the Youth Week activities, Hayrunnisa Özata, a student from 15 July Martyrs Anatolian High School, who won the poetry competition, recited her poem, and Zeynep Melek Konuk, a student from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, who won the composition competition, read her composition.
As part of the Youth Week activities, students who ranked in the painting, poetry, and composition competitions organized by the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the cross-country and badminton competitions organized by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports were awarded by Governor Türker Öksüz and the protocol.
After the Judo and Gymnastics show presented by the athletes, in the final part of the program; the folk dance performance by the students of Martyr Hakan Aktürk Special Education Vocational School, the Burdur Region Folk Dances show prepared by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and the Tek Zeybek Folk Dance show were presented.
The program was attended by Governor Türker Öksüz, Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz, Member of Parliament İzzet Akbulut, Member of Parliament Mustafa Oğuz, Garrison Commander Tank Colonel Şengezer Şimşek, Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz, Chief Public Prosecutor Osman Kara, MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Bar Association President Ramazan Gedik, Deputy Governor Yasin Özcan, Legal Advisor Osman Dölek, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Mustafa Güder, Provincial Police Chief Ümit Bitirik, Provincial General Assembly President Levent Tokmaker, Provincial Special Administration Secretary General Asım Ertilav, political party provincial chairmen, institution directors, veterans, relatives of martyrs, teachers, students, and citizens.
