Announcement of Special Talent EK EXAM Application for the Department of Fine Arts Education, Faculty of Education, Painting-Work Education Main Science Branch (2026-2027 Academic Year)

Our University’s Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, will accept students for the Painting-Work Education Main Science Branch through a Special Talent EK Exam for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Applicants for the mentioned Main Science Branch must have participated in the 2026 YKS exam and have a minimum Y-TYT score of 800,000th rank (the success rank of the placement score without additional points is taken into account).

*Disabled student quota

Candidates who win the Painting-Work Education Main Science Branch of the Faculty of Education, either as primary or reserve, must register on the specified dates. If the quota is not filled by the end of the primary registration date, reserve candidates will be called on September 18, 2026, according to their reserve order. If reserve candidates do not register within the given 1 (one) day period, they will lose their registration rights. Even if there are open quotas at the end of all reserve candidates' registrations, no further registrations will be made. Those who will be taken from the reserve quota will be announced on our Faculty's website (https://egitim.mehmetakif.edu.tr). Candidates are required to follow the announcements. Otherwise, they cannot claim any rights.

PRE-REGISTRATION Pre-registrations will be made electronically through the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University website https://oys.mehmetakif.edu.tr/. Candidates who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the TRNC and meet the conditions can pre-register for the Department of Fine Arts Education, Painting-Work Education Main Science Branch. The Exam Implementation Principles will be announced online.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FINAL REGISTRATION 

1- Internet Registration Output (Exam Entrance Document) 

2- The original and 1 photocopy of the identity card with T.C. identity number. 

3- The original and 1 photocopy of the 2026 TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) Exam Result Document (internet output.) 

4- 6 (six) photographs sized 4.5 x 6 cm (photograph showing the candidate's status in the last six months) 

5- The original of the High School Diploma (or a notarized copy) and its photocopy (Those whose diplomas have not yet been prepared or who have failed a single course exam will bring an official written document from their schools showing their status.) 

6- Disabled candidates (physical disability, visual impairment, hearing impairment, MR (mental retardation) with “pervasive developmental disorders” (autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Asperger syndrome, RETT syndrome, disintegrative disorders, pervasive developmental disorders in the unclassified group) who have a calculated TYT score (those who have at least 800,000th success rank in TYT for teacher training programs) will be accepted to special talent exams, provided that they document their special situations with a “disabled health board report” to the relevant higher education institution. The scores of these candidates will be valid for 2 years including the year the exam is held and can be used in special talent exam applications in 2026-YKS. Candidates with the mentioned disabilities must document their situations with a “disabled health board report” to apply for programs that accept students through special talent exams, and their TYT scores will be evaluated based on a separate talent exam result conducted among themselves without considering the TYT scores (without using the formula in the Guide), and the registrations of those who pass the talent exam will be made. 

7- Those with incomplete documents will not be registered definitively. 

8- No special talent exam fee will be charged.

1. Candidates who do not bring the originals of these documents during final registration will not be registered, and in case of any inconsistency or forgery regarding the documents, legal action will be taken against the candidates.

2. All announcements and changes related to the exams will be made online. Therefore, it is necessary to follow our internet page. The candidates who apply will be announced on our Faculty's Web page according to their candidate numbers on which day they will take the special talent exam within the exam dates.
