Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar published a message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

“Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation.”

We celebrate the 106th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with great pride and enthusiasm.

 April 23 symbolizes a historic turning point where our nation took control of its own destiny with the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the embodiment of national will. 

The fact that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated this meaningful day to children is one of the strongest expressions of the trust placed in our children, who are the guarantee of our future.

Our children are the carriers of the ideas, values, and transformation that will shape the world of tomorrow. We are working with all our might to ensure that they become individuals who think freely, are equipped with science, national and spiritual values, and are raised with the ideals of humanity.

I sincerely celebrate the holiday of all our children and wish that the sparkle in those pure eyes, which renews our hope for the future every day, never fades.
