An International Invited Online Mixed Exhibition will be organized under the theme of “CHILDˮ by the Child Education Application and Research Center within Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University between the dates of 23.04.2026-30.06.2026.
Beyond innocence, imagination, and the sense of discovery, childhood is a multi-layered concept directly related to identity formation, social memory, cultural transmission, and the imagination of the future. This exhibition invites us to think about the theme of “childˮ not only as a biological or age-based category but also with concepts such as hope, vulnerability, play, learning, rights, memory, and transformation. Centering on the transformative power of art, this meeting aims to make visible individual and collective experiences, critical approaches, and creative interpretations related to childhood.
Productions from all fields of art are open to evaluation within the scope of the theme. In this context:
- Plastic art works such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, illustration, and photography,
- Video art, new media, digital productions,
- Installations and site-specific arrangements,
- Performance, interdisciplinary and experimental works,
- Contemporary art practices addressing the concept of “childˮ in the context of children's rights, education, play culture, memory, migration, ecology, technology, or social transformation are invited for evaluation.
Artwork submissions will be made through the relevant application form, and results will be notified via email.
