Alex, who liked the ball previously gifted to him by Rector Hüseyin Dalgar, visited the handmade ball sewing workshop operated by women's cooperatives upon learning that these balls were sewn by women's hand labor at the invitation of Rector Dalgar.
During the visit, Alex De Souza, Rector Dalgar, and the women working in the cooperative listened to the establishment of the workshop and the handmade ball sewing process. Rector Dalgar also gave information about the production stages of footballs produced especially in FIFA standards and 'bocce' balls exported to international markets. Rector Dalgar underlined that the workshop is a product of a social project that best reveals the power and determination of our hardworking women in Burdur.
