MAKUFest 2024 Sports Festival Inter-Department Student Basketball Tournament Ended

The interdepartmental student basketball tournament, held as part of the MAKÜFest 2024 Sports Festival organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, has ended. 

The tournaments, aimed at increasing solidarity and love of sports among university students, resulted in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine coming first in women's category, and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in men's category.

At the award ceremony held after the tournament, the teams received their trophies and medals from Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy thanked all the students who participated in the tournament, emphasized the unifying power of sports, and pointed out the importance of such activities in university life.
